Brenda

Brenda Gordon grew up in a structured Central Florida home, where she developed a love for camping, the outdoors, and recreation. In God’s perfect timing, her path crossed with David Gordon’s while they were both in college at LeTourneau in Texas—where the Southeast met the West, and two very different cultures collided in a joyful and God-ordained way.

Looking back, Brenda can clearly see how the Lord was preparing her for a life filled with worldwide ministry adventures, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ alongside her husband. Together, she and David have served through Sport X Change in a variety of roles and in many nations, using sports and personal relationships as bridges to the Gospel.

The Gordons have been blessed with two children and eight grandchildren, all of whom are actively serving the Lord and carrying on the Great Commission in their own unique callings. Brenda’s life reflects the truth of Isaiah 52:7: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns.’”
